If you missed this seasonal advertisement that went viral, it’s worth watching. Produced by creative agency Jung von Matt for Dutch pharmacy Doc Morris, the commercial depicts an elderly man struggling, over several weeks, to lift and push a heavy kettlebell. Later, at a family gathering, he proudly lifts his grand-daughter overhead to place a tree-topper on the family Christmas tree. It’s a touching moment—and a realistic one. Fitness training for deconditioned seniors builds stability, strength, and coordination for essential activities of daily living—vital to maintain independence and to do the things that bring us joy.

That’s going to be me when I’ve done a few weeks of training with you, right? Especially because I’m starting from a *slightly* more fit state than this gentleman. 🙂
