We’ve all been there. We know exercise is good for us, and it helps us physically and mentally. But sometimes, we just can’t. We lack the interest or motivation. Our coach tries to validate and encourage. Sometimes that helps. Other times, nothing helps. It’s just a bad day or a rough patch. When I hit those walls, I remember that my fitness journey is freely chosen and being challenged physically is the trajectory to building stability, strength, and endurance. So it’s not unreasonable to take a day off, or have a mediocre workout. But experience the rewards by resuming your exercise regimen.
